If you are a student, under the age of 21, in need of a safer space to complete your education due to your sexual or gender identity, the Triangle Program is beginning the registration process for second semester.
Step 1: Attend an information session
All interested students must attend one information session. The information session is a chance for students and caregivers to learn about the school, expectations and the programs we offer.
We do not register students in these sessions. After attending a session and speaking to staff, if the Triangle Program seems like the right choice for a student, an individual intake meeting will be scheduled.
Information Session Dates
- Monday, December 19th: 4:00 – 5:00pm
- Monday, January 16th: 5:00 – 6:00pm
Please book a space for one of the above information sessions by calling 416-393-8443 or by emailing anthony.grandy@tdsb.on.ca
If you are under 18, a caregiver should accompany you if possible.
Step 2: Attend a scheduled in-take meeting.
The intake meeting is an opportunity for students, parents and guardians to meet staff and for staff to learn more about the student and their needs. If both parties are satisfied that the Triangle Program is an appropriate space for the student’s academic success, registration will be done and a start date set.
What to bring to the intake meeting:
- Birth certificate
- OHIP card
- Proof of address (eg Phone Bill,Drivers license)
- Copy of IEP (if applicable)
- MOST IMPORTANT:Credit counselling summary from your last high school
In-take meetings will take place by appointment on Friday, January 27th.
Step 3: Attend Orientation
Orientation will occur Friday, February 3rd: 9:30am-3:30am.
Orientation is mandatory and is the first day of school for second semester. Students that do not attend orientation will not be enrolled into the program.
